Singing since the age of 18 years, Yusni until now still able to record the name as a singer to Bestsellers stage presentation, especially among the royal family. In fact, the singer invited for the success of Concert Bahtera Merdeka Datuk Ahmad Jais in the Palace of Culture on March 25 this singer also called Royal.
This is because Yusni often out in the court to entertain kings and sultans in and outside the country, including in Brunei. She began to entertain dignitaries since the era of the late Tun Razak.
Nine years singing in the Lake Club, presentation Yusni ever witnessed by Nancy Reagan who was by then wife to the President of the United States.

Breakdance, the oldest known hip-hop style of dance, is believed to have originated in the Bronx, New York in the 1970’s. Sonic inspirations date back to the energetic performances of funk maestro, James Brown. In the early days of djing, emceeing, and b-boying, a break – instrumental part of a song that is looped repeatedly by the DJ – were incorporated into songs to allow a showcase of improvised breakdance steps.

Setahun setelah dilanda ”kiamat,” apa yang kira-kira tersisa bagi masa depan industri ini?
Ari Lasso belakangan lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu dengan tertawa lepas di rumahnya yang mewah di Bintaro. Penyanyi yang total telah menjual jutaan keping album solonya ini seperti menemukan katarsis alternatif. Bahkan ketika serius membicarakan masa depan industri musik suara tawanya semakin keras terdengar. Padahal masa depan industri musik adalah juga masa depan karirnya, bahkan masa depan istri dan anak-anaknya.

”Gue punya 16 versi album the best of Ari Lasso,” ceritanya dengan penuh semangat. “Waktu gue tur di 30 kota tempo hari, gue selalu beli versi yang berbeda. Judulnya macam-macam. Ari Lasso & Friends, The Best of Ari Lasso, Balada Ari Lasso, Lagu Cinta Ari Lasso, Cinta dan Kehidupan Ari Lasso, Keseimbangan Cinta Ari Lasso, Rahasia Ari Lasso sampai Misteri Ari Lasso. ”Ternyata gue bisa menghidupi orang banyak juga, meskipun caranya mereka mencuri dari gue. Minimal orang-orang yang menggemari musik gue bisa mendapatkannya dengan harga yang murah dan mereka datang ke konser gue dengan cara…gratis! (Tertawa) Yah, upahnya nanti di surga kali ya? (Tertawa)”
”Jadi apa yang Anda lakukan sekarang adalah menabung untuk di akhirat nanti?”
“Nggak. Itu salah satu bentuk frustrasi gue aja (Tertawa). Kalau bisa upahnya diambil di sini ya, di ambil di sini lah (Tertawa). Itu juga kalau memang surga itu ada (Tertawa),” kali ini candaannya mulai menyerempet bahaya.
”Kalau albumnya hanya laku segitu gue terima. Manggung di depan puluhan ribu orang yang nonton gratisan pun gue hanya tersenyum. Gue memposisikan diri di atas panggung benar-benar sebagai menghibur orang susah. Bayangkan malam tahun baru kemarin di Monas gue manggung bareng Ungu dan Utopia di depan 3 juta orang! Orang susah semua dan mungkin tidak punya CD gue tapi hafal semua lagu-lagunya (Tertawa),” ujarnya pasrah.
Ari Lasso hanya salah seorang dari ribuan artis musik lokal yang bingung dengan masa depan industri musik Indonesia yang kini tengah carut marut karena dilanda berbagai problematika. Pemerintah dan aparat kepolisian yang berpangku tangan, penjualan musik bajakan yang makin transparan, label rekaman yang terancam bangkrut, konser yang rusuh dan rutin menelan korban jiwa adalah situasi terakhir industri musik lokal kita.
Pencipta lagu terkenal sekaligus Ketua Bidang Teknologi & Informasi PAPPRI, James F. Sundah menegaskan kalau Indonesia termasuk negara yang paling gila di dunia karena penjualan barang bajakan hanya berjarak 100 meter dari depan Istana Negara.

International University “Global Theatre Experience” is inviting colleagues
to take part in the international performing arts conference in Slovenia.
A small number of places for FREE participation
in all events of the conference program are available on a competitive basis.
Accommodation and meals expenses: 150 EUR (if payment is made before April 1st). We shall provide you with accommodation in a hotel in twin room (three nights), two meals per day (breakfast and lunch), tea/coffee breaks. The conference will take place in Bovec, the mountain resort and the ancient alpine town located in north-western Slovenia in the Trenta valley of the Julian Alps.

ORANG paling berbangga apabila Siti Norsaida Tarudin, 32, diumumkan layak menyertai rancangan realiti TV popular Akademi Fantasia musim keenam (AF6) adalah penyanyi wanita paling popular, Datin Seri Siti Nurhaliza.
Seperti diketahui umum Norsaida dan Siti adik-beradik, dan mereka agak rapat sejak kecil.
Ditemui di majlis mengumumkan pengacara dan artis yang mengadakan persembahan di Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian 2007 (ABPBH07)di Palace of Golden Horses kelmarin, Siti berkata dia tidak sabar mahu melihat keletah kakaknya sekiranya berpeluang memasuki kediaman AF6.
“Saya tidak sabar hendak tengok reaksinya apabila bercampur dengan pelajar lain yang jauh lebih muda. Lagi satu saya mahu tengok bagaimana dia mengikuti kelas setiap hari.
“Macam mana agaknya dia hendak belajar dengan guru yang tegas sebabnya Saida ini cepat kalut dalam keadaan tertekan,” katanya membuka rahsia sikap kakaknya itu.
Kata Siti lagi, dari peringkat awal dia tahu kakak dan adiknya Saerah menyertai uji bakat yang diadakan penerbit rancangan AF6, Astro Ria.
Tambah Siti, sejak kecil dia dan Saida sering bersaing apabila ada pertandingan nyanyian di Kuala Lipis atau sekitar Pahang tempat kelahiran mereka.
“Sehingga berlaku insiden apabila menyanyi suaranya pecah. Kerana malu lama juga Saida tidak meneruskan minatnya itu. Begitupun, sesekali andai saya menerima tawaran mengadakan persembahan Saida akan menggantikan tempat saya. Kiranya kakak menjadi bidan terjun.
“Kerana lama tidak menyanyi saya sendiri terkejut apabila Saida terpilih. Begitupun, sebagai ibu kepada empat anak dia terpaksa membuat pengorbanan besar dengan meninggalkan mereka demi mengejar cita-cita.
“Mujur anak faham. Saya sendiri tolong tengok-tengokkan mereka seperti kelmarin keempat-empat anak Saida tinggal dengan saya. Sekarang ini musim cuti sekolah jadi senang sikit untuk saya membantu menguruskan mereka.
“Sepanjang saya bersama mereka, hendak tergelak pun ada, sayu di hati pun ada juga. Anak Saida yang tua, Siti Nurul Nisa Mohd Ghazali, 11, dan yang kedua, Anas berusia 9 tahun boleh berdikari.
“Cuma apa yang menyentuh hati saya apabila dua beradik lagi Khalid, 5, dan Siti Nurul Mashitah walau masih kecil mereka sudah faham dengan usaha dilakukan ibu mereka. Jika ditanya ibu di mana, mereka akan kata, ibu pergi menyanyi,” katanya lagi.
Siti tidak menafikan sebagai ahli keluarga yang rapat jika Saida layak masuk ke kediaman AF6, dia akan ‘turun padang’ menyaksikan konsert mingguan yang bakal berlangsung di Dewan Majlis Bandaran Petaling Jaya (MBPJ).
